Focusing more specifically on women, we will look at common issues women are faced with negotiation and how to maneveur them.
As a very broad generalization, women may not be as comfortable advocating for themselves, and may not be as quick to advance their own point of view. Whether this is socialized or not, we will discuss. We will look at why, and how to incorporate any gender barriers to your negotiation style.

Jayla Pearce, founder of Her Collectives, will be guiding attendees through this interactive, playful and tactical workshop @ Spaces. Jayla has had a successful career in sales, negotiating large deals that were seen as 'unachieveable' and continues to negotiate in other areas of her life.
Beyond negotiating in her career and life; she also has taken 3 course on negotiation. Most recently, Cornell's Women In Leadership negotiation course; and 2 negotiation courses from University of Toronto.
